All White

White is a very aggressive colour,

don’t you think? it almost

parps its horn as it

looms behind you on the road,

spit-and-polished and

smug; and it makes your

house feel like a prison or a

torture-cell; and ooh it

doesn’t suit you, making your

skin look dead and your

pores twice their size; and we

use it to pretend we’re still

virgins, even in middle-age, while the

whiteness of Mr. Whippy

screams its fraudulence, yet we

still lap it up; and if the

Moon was really white we’d

all be mad, but thankfully it’s

cream cheese.

Yeah, so why is it all about being white anyway?
Great poem to challenge my brain this morning.
