First fumblings

We pretend children have no sex lives then
laugh as they play kiss-chase in the playground
and forget our first fumblings with
our sticky groins
quietly under covers
worried about smells and stains yet
enamoured of them already.

I like it 🙂 Nice “fumbling” rhythm alongside the words that rub up against each other in awkward desire.

The feelings, the fragrances and the sweet sensations of those first fumblings never leave you. No matter how much experience I’ve had, each time is a first for me.
